Physical combat, as normally occurs in these games, is something completely foreign to them.

It isn't ladylike at all.

So... changing the games to utilize the esoteric understanding of the arts which they possess as Ladies of Good Breeding does make a certain amount of sense.

However, one has to wonder just how they will react when they actually encounter the unmodified games sometime in the future? Will their experience with the modified games help them, similar to how his prior experience aided him, or will they suffer a disconnect?

After all, the entire problem his presence is hoped to solve is that their graduates have increasingly failed in the Outer World due to suffering disconnects.

This whole field trip is a baby step, due to just how much it still differs from reality. It may actually harm them, as they have no clue just how much it differs from reality, and thus the shock they experience in the Outer World may be even greater, as they now have the false idea that they have experienced what life is like for commoners, when what they have actually experienced is a fantasyland experience; previously they at least knew that they had no concept of what the reality was like.

Even when attempting to aid them in adjusting to reality, those who care for them still overprotect them. The sad thing is that they don't realize that this is what they're doing. Which may reflect that they, too, are disconnected from the true reality of what life is like for the 98%...

In some ways, this is social satire at its finest.
